According to Yieh.com, the EU has initiated a review of the duration of anti-subsidy measures against imports of hot-rolled flat products from China based on a request submitted by the European Steel Association (EUROFER) on March 9, 2022.
The final anti-subsidy duties for Chinese exporters/manufacturers of eligible products were set at 4.60% to 35.90%, depending on the company. These fees were introduced on June 8, 2017 and expired on June 9, 2022.
The products mentioned are certain types of flat products made of iron, non-alloy steel or other alloy steel, whether or not in coils, not further worked than hot-rolled, not clad, plated or coated.
