As reported by Yieh.com, according to Anti-Dumping Notice No. 2021/030 issued by the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission on April 12, 2021, the Australian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology has accepted the Commission's recommendation and reasons for the first anti-dumping investigation. It aims to continue anti-dumping measures against steel reinforcing bars up to and including 50 mm in diameter exported to Australia from China from April 13, 2021.
The introduction of the duty is based on a combination of a fixed and variable duty method with a 19.0% dumping margin for all Chinese exporters.
Eligible products have tariff codes 7213.10.00.42, 7214.20.00.47, 7227.90.10.69, 7227.90.90.01, 7227.90.90.02, 7227.90.90.04, 7228.30.10.70, 7228.30.90.40 and 7228.60.10.72 Regular round bar, stainless steel and mesh reinforcement are excluded from this anti-dumping measure.
